Police discovered more than 1,000 plants at a property on Strickland Street, Hull

Six men have been arrested after a large-scale cannabis growing operation was found in Hull, police said.

Officers carried out at a raid at a property in Strickland Street on Monday and discovered more than 1,000 plants spread over seven rooms.

Four of those arrested have been released with no further action, but two men, aged 41 and 42, remain in custody.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Humberside Police.
