'Grief doesn't stop' says dad of blood scandal victim

The father of a man who died after being given infected blood products said he was told he may not receive compensation until 2029.

Tony Summers, 89, whose son Paul died after contracting HIV and Hepatitis C, told BBC Wales getting to the end of the process was "probably the most important thing left in his life".

Victims of infected blood are dying "two a week" while awaiting compensation for the biggest scandal in the history of the NHS, campaigners have said.

A Labour MP described the delay as "embarrassing", while the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA) said it would "continue to increase the number of compensation payments".
