BBC reporter at the scene of fatal shooting
Residents close to where a woman was shot dead have described police cars and ambulances, as well as police helicopter, being deployed to the area.
BBC's Stephen Fairclough is reporting from the scene of Sunday's incident in Talbot Green, Rhondda Cynon Taf, with one neighbour saying they heard a gunshot.
A 40-year-old woman was found with serious injuries and died at the scene, police said.
A 42-year-old man from Talbot Green has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
