Traditional market searching for young traders
Young traders are being given the chance to sell their wares at a traditional outdoor market.
Stockton Borough Council says its market has been running for more than 700 years and is wildly popular.
However, it is now attempting to bring new faces to the stalls with a scheme allowing young entrepreneurs to try selling at markets for free.
Merya Molnar, 28, who owns Naturally Resolved, recently moved to Norton and says she had previously thought social media was the only way to promote her skin care and beauty business, so is excited to try a more traditional way of selling to the public.
The Young Traders' Market, which is for people under the age of 30, will take place on Saturday on Stockton High Street.
