The two men celebrating 87 years of friendship
Two men who have been friends for 87 years have been celebrating their bond and sharing their tips for a successful friendship.
Maurice Cooper, 95, and George Whittingham, 98, grew up in south Yorkshire, but came to London to serve as officers and musicians with the Salvation Army and now live near each other in Bromley, south-east London.
Throughout their friendship, they've travelled the world together with their Salvation Army band, as well as attending football matches and weddings.
"We treat each other like brothers, we treat each other as if we're part of the family," Maurice said.
