Tim Iredale's guide to polling day

Voters will go to the polls on Thursday to choose mayors for Hull and East Yorkshire and Greater Lincolnshire.

Political correspondent Tim Iredale has been looking at what happens on polling day.

Polling stations open at 07:00 and close at 22:00. Voters will need to take photo ID and a full list of options can be found here.

Elections will also be held to decide who runs Lincolnshire County Council.
