Japanese ambassador celebrates St David's Day

Japan's ambassador to the UK celebrated St David's Day by eating a Welsh cake washed down with tea from a mug decorated with the Welsh dragon.

In a video posted on X, Hiroshi Suzuki gave the thumbs up to the traditional sweet treat.

He said he had made daffodils, the national flower of Wales, with origami, the Japanese art of folding paper, and had one pinned on his jacket.
