Man arrested over alleged assault in seaside town
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after another man was found with serious injuries.
Norfolk Police said armed officers were called to Wellesley Road, Great Yarmouth, at about 08:25 GMT on Monday where they discovered a man in his 40s with lacerations to his head.
He was taken to the James Paget University Hospital, Gorleston, for treatment.
Police said the man, in his 30s, remained in custody.
A cordon had been placed around the property while investigations continued, the force added.
