Man released over alleged assault in seaside town
A man suspected of leaving a victim with serious injuries has been released on bail.
Norfolk Police said armed officers were called to a property in Wellesley Road, Great Yarmouth, at about 08:25 GMT on Monday where they found a man in his 40s with lacerations to his head.
He was taken for treatment at James Paget University Hospital, Gorleston, but has since been discharged, police said.
The suspect, aged in his 30s, was held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He was released on bail until 9 March, police said.
