"Highly valuable" jewellery, including a Rolex watch and a Cartier diamond bracelet, have been stolen in a house raid.
Cleveland Police said the property was broken into through a bedroom window and "ransacked".
The home, on The Plantations in Wynyard, County Durham, was empty at the time of the break-in.
Officers are appealing for anyone who has been offered the jewellery or who has information or CCTV footage to contact them.
They believe the burglary happened between 4 and 16 January, but the information was only released on Monday.
