House fire damage too severe to determine cause

Investigators have said the severity of a house fire in Derby has prevented them from establishing what caused the blaze.
Fire crews were sent to the incident, which involved a semi-detached property in Fairfax Road in Normanton, on Wednesday afternoon.
They were able to put out the fire but had to return the following morning to damp down areas where it had re-ignited.
Images released by the fire service on Monday showed the roof of the property had been destroyed and the interior of the house gutted in the incident.
A fire service spokesperson said the cause of the blaze was "undeterminable due to the severity of the fire and damage to the property".
