Tenants give their support to flats demolition

A block of flats in Hull which is home to council tenants will be demolished following a public consultation.
Rossett House, on Walker Street, was built in 1969 and contains 33 flats, 27 which are council rentals.
Hull City Council's cabinet confirmed the demolition would go ahead after residents were asked for their views on whether it should be refurbished or knocked down.
A majority favoured demolition, and a council report said refurbishment would not "represent best use of public funds".
The council will run a relocation programme for its tenants, to try to cater for those who want to stay within the Walker Street or Riverside area, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
Permission has been given to use compulsory purchase powers to acquire any non-council properties within Rossett House if agreements cannot be reached.
