Cyclist, 74, dies after being hit by van

A 74-year-old cyclist has died two weeks after he was hit by a van.

Humberside Police said they received reports about a white Mercedes Sprinter van being involved in the crash on the Mount Pleasant North Roundabout in Hull at about 14:50 GMT on Monday 30 December.

The cyclist was taken to hospital where he died on Monday 13 January.

His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, the force added. Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch with police.
