Police appeal after assault on A39 near Truro

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault after a collision on the A39 at Truro.

The driver of a Majestic wines van was assaulted and injured by another van driver on Newquay Road at about 16:00 GMT on 6 March, the force said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the driver then returned to his van and left the scene.

Officers are seeking witnesses to the incident and believe it would have been a busy part of the day with lots of passing traffic.
