A man has been seriously injured in a machete attack in Leeds.

The 31-year-old victim suffered a wound to his arm during the incident in Bayswater Grove in Harehills.

West Yorkshire Police said the attack happened at about 17:35 BST on 29 April, before the suspect ran away along Bayswater Mount in the direction of Roundhay Road.

Officers investigating the attack have released a photo of a man they want to trace in connection with the incident

Anyone who witnessed the incident or those who could help identify the suspect have been asked to come forward.
