Two women die and two children injured in Cork crash

Two women have died and two children have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in County Cork.
It happened on the N72, Navigation Road, Mallow, at about 15:50 local time on Sunday.
The two female drivers, one in her 60s and one in her 40s, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two children, who were passengers in one of the cars, have been taken to Cork University Hospital.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Gardaí (Irish police), with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
Crash in Waterford
Meanwhile, a woman in her 60s has died following a three-vehicle crash in County Waterford.
It happened on the N25 at Moonameen at about 14:10 local time on Sunday.
The woman, who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene, her body has been removed and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
Three other people were taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver and passenger of the second car, a man and woman aged in their 50's, were taken to University Hospital Waterford.
A woman in her 60s, the driver of a third car, was taken by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital.
The road is currently closed and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
