Designer Sir Paul Smith has had a tram named in his honour in Nottingham, where his fashion career began more than 50 years ago.
Sir Paul, who was born in Beeston in Nottinghamshire, returned to the city on Wednesday to unveil his name on the side of a Nottingham Express Transit vehicle.
"This city is where it all began for me and my career," he said.
"I feel incredibly lucky to be recognised in this way."
Sir Paul, who creates clothing, accessories, shoes and fragrances and is known for his use of colourful stripes, opened his first shop in Nottingham in 1970.
The Paul Smith brand is sold in more than 60 countries and 3,000 retail stores, employing over 1,200 people - of which more than 400 are based at the headquarters in the city.
