Speeches in Italian and wedding anniversary mark King's visit to Italy

The King started the third day of his state visit to Italy with a meeting with the country's Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, in Rome.

As the day unfolded, the King and Queen received multiple tributes to mark their 20th wedding anniversary.

The Queen received a pizza as a gift during a visit to a school. The crowd shouted congratulations as the couple arrived at a state banquet hosted by the President of Italy Sergio Mattarella.

The King delivered two speeches - one at the Italian Parliament and another at Quirinale Palace. On both occasions, he spoke Italian.

The King's speech at the state banquet touched on a mix of comic and serious themes about the long relationship between the UK and Italy.
