Sensory bus offers immersive insight into autism
A mobile training bus has been touring East Yorkshire to give visitors an immersive insight into autism.
The Autism Reality Experience uses bright lights, sights, sounds and smells to simulate some of the challenges faced by people living with the condition.
Participants wear gloves, glasses and headphones while attempting to complete tasks.
Run by Training2Care, the bus parked up at Swan House Day Centre, in Bridlington, to help train staff. It will visit a centre in Hull in August.
Adam Ross, the manager of Swan House, said the experience had "a really positive reaction from the staff and everyone who's done it".
