Almost every district in the capital sustained damage after Russia fired a record 550 drones, Ukraine says.

Russian missiles and drones hit residential areas and hospitals in Ukraine's Kyiv region, the interior minister says.

A cruise missile slammed into an ordinary residential block early on Tuesday, likely travelling at about 500mph.
