Man dies after car crashes into parked lorry on A14

A man has died after a car crashed into a lorry while it was parked in a layby on the A14.
Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway between junction 50, for Stowmarket, and junction 49, for Haughley, in Suffolk, at 23:41 GMT on Thursday.
A black Ford C-Max car had been involved in a collision with a Volvo Skip Loader.
Fire crews and paramedics also attended the incident but the driver of the car, a man in his 60s, was declared dead at the scene.
The road between the two junctions was closed for several hours. It reopened at 07:30 on Friday.
