People are being asked for their views about safety on the A1 in Lincolnshire.

The dual carriageway has seen a number of accidents on its southern stretch and safety improvement work is being carried out by National Highways.

Lincolnshire County Council is due to hold a meeting in Marston, near Grantham, on 12 March.

People can also share their views via the council's website.

Councillor Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: "Many of us in Grantham, Stamford and across Lincolnshire are frustrated with A1 safety issues.

"This event is your chance to raise concerns and be part of the conversation about what can be done."

Representatives from the county council, National Highways and Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership will be at the event.

It will take place at 19:00 GMT on 12 March at the The Olde Barn Hotel.
