Fifteenth arrest made in murder inquiry

Police investigating the killing of a 34-year-old man have arrested another suspect in connection with his death.

Ryan Burton, from Corby, Northamptonshire, died in hospital on 16 January, six days after being assaulted in Spring Rise Park off Highfield Road, Kettering.

A 32-year-old man, from Kettering, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and remains in police custody.

He is the 15th person to be arrested in connection with the case.

Three men have been charged with Mr Burton's murder. They are 18-year old Ace Hill, of Minden Close, Corby; 24-year-old Cameron Williams-Ferguson, from Kettering; and 20-year-old Keiton Underwood, from Desborough.

They have been remanded in custody until their next court appearance.

Six men who were also arrested on suspicion of murder remain on police bail.

Among the other arrests are a 28-year-old woman, from Kettering, who was released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Four people arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender are also on bail.
