Jewellery and cash were stolen from Byron Lodge care home last month, police say

Jewellery and cash have been stolen from a safe in a Rotherham care home, police said.

A safe containing the valuables was targeted at the Byron Lodge care home in West Melton between 00:35 and 01:45 GMT on 27 January.

South Yorkshire Police said it was appealing for help as the investigation remained ongoing.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the force.
