Appeal after man seriously injured in altercation

Police have issued an appeal after a man was seriously injured in an assault earlier this month.
Officers said the man received significant head injuries during an altercation on Silver Street in Halifax town centre at about 06:00 BST on 13 April.
The victim, a man aged in his twenties, suffered significant head injuries and was taken to hospital, they added.
West Yorkshire Police has appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact officers.
