Pedestrian in her 20s dies after being hit by lorry

A pedestrian aged in her 20s has died after she was struck by a lorry on a roundabout junction in Portsmouth.
Police said she was hit by the lorry on the junction of Gunstore Road and Norway Road on Tuesday shortly before 08:30 GMT.
The woman from Guildford died at the scene.
The 45-year-old lorry driver, from Romford, East London was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care or consideration while unfit through drugs.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said he had since been released under investigation while further inquiries were carried out.
The force is keen to speak to the driver of a light blue Kia Soul with a white roof that stopped in front of the lorry after the crash.
Witnesses and anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage are also being urged to come forward.
