Man in critical condition after M60 motorbike crash

A man in his 50s has suffered life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle crashed on the M60 motorway.
Greater Manchester Police said officers did not believe any other vehicle was involved in the incident between junction 24 and 25 near Bredbury in Stockport at about 13:40 BST on Saturday.
The force said members of the public stopped by the roadside to give first aid to the man after the crash on the anti-clockwise side of the motorway.
He was then taken to hospital by an emergency service crew in an air ambulance.
His family have been informed, officers said as they appealed for witnesses to the incident or anyone with relevant dash-cam footage to contact them.
Parts of the motorway was shut for many hours on Saturday as crews dealt with the impact of the crash.
