Man bailed after woman fell from window

A man has been released on bail after a woman was left in critical condition after a suspected fall from a window.

Northamptonshire Police was called to Tower Field Square, Northampton, at 01:00 BST on Saturday.

A 37-year-old woman was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital where she remained in a critical condition.

The force said a 40-year-old man from Northampton had been released on conditional bail pending further inquiries and officers appealed for witnesses to contact them on 101.
