Two charged over £400k-worth of cannabis plants

Two men have been charged over the production of cannabis worth more than £400,000.

The cannabis plants were seized in a Humberside Police raid in New Cleveland Street, Hull, on Friday.

Ernest Gioka, 24, of New Cleveland Street, and Gjergj Biba, 32, of Coundon Road, Coventry, have been charged with the production of a Class B drug and abstracting electricity without authority.

Both have been remanded in custody ahead of their court appearances.
