A man died after falling from the cab of a lorry in Newhall Way, Bradford

A man has died after falling from the cab of a lorry into the road at an industrial estate in Bradford, police said.

Officers were called to reports of concern for a man's safety on Newhall Way at 04:10 BST on Tuesday, West Yorkshire Police said.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Upon attending they discovered that a man was lying in the road after appearing to have fallen from the cab of a lorry into the road.

"The man was treated by ambulance colleagues but was confirmed to have died at the scene shortly afterwards."

Inquiries remain ongoing with forensic officers investigating at the scene.

Police said the man's death was not being treated as suspicious.
