Surrey hosts two-day celebration of the postcard

Surrey is to host what organisers say is the country's biggest event for collectors of postcards.
The two-day fair, organised by the Postcard Traders Association (PTA), takes place at Woking Leisure Centre on Friday and Saturday.
More than 60 dealers of vintage postcards will be taking part, along with collectors of cigarette cards and stamps.
PTA chairman David Davis said: "In Edwardian days, collecting postcards was seen by many to be the main hobby in the country."

The association has decided to mark its significant birthday with a gesture to the public.
"As part of the PTA's 50th anniversary celebrations throughout 2025, we have decided to make the public entry free to our show for everyone this year," said Mr Davis.
"We would invite anyone interested to come along and see what all the fuss is about."

The PTA holds regular events across the country.
Following the two-day event, the next one scheduled for Surrey is due to be held in Onslow village hall on 31 May.
