Officer charged in police anti-corruption probe
A Police Scotland officer is one of four people arrested and charged in an investigation by the force's anti-corruption unit.
Another man is a former officer who resigned from the force.
Police Scotland said the three men and a woman were arrested in central Scotland last Wednesday. It came after raids at properties earlier this year.
A force spokesperson said: "All four have been charged and released from custody on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date."
BBC Scotland News understands that the serving officer is currently suspended.
The other man and the woman are members of the public.
