Man charged in connection with death of man found on street

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of a man who was found seriously injured on a street in Aberdeen.
Police found the injured 24-year-old man in Pennan Road in the Tillydrone area of the city in the early hours of Thursday following a disturbance at a property in nearby Coningham Terrace.
He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police Scotland said a 25-year-old man had now been charged and was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Det Insp James Callander said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at what is an extremely difficult time.
"Officers are offering support and keeping them updated with the progress of our investigation."
