A teenager has been taken to hospital for treatment after being hit by a vehicle in Bradford.

Emergency crews were called to Barkerend Road at about 17:25 GMT on Sunday, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The 18-year-old male pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of the vehicle involved was spoken to by officers at the scene, a force spokesperson said.

Officers were continuing to investigate, and anyone who saw what happened was asked to contact police, they added.
