A 76-year-old woman has denied perverting the course of justice after a man died in a dog attack.
June Miles, of Friary Road, Atherstone, pleaded not guilty to the charge in relation to the death of Anthony Harrington, 77, at a house on Packington Lane in Meriden, Solihull, in November 2023.
At Warwick Crown Court on Friday, Miles also pleaded not guilty to owning or being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control, in relation to serious injury to his daughter Wendy Harrington at the same address.
The 76-year-old was bailed, and a trial has been scheduled to take place in August next year.
