Police have asked for help in identifying a motorcycle rider captured on CCTV

A teenage pedestrian has been seriously injured after a motorbike collided with her in a hit-and-run crash, police have said.

The collision happened on Bradley Stoke Way, near the Willowbrook Shopping Centre, in Bristol, shortly after 16:45 GMT on Thursday.

Officers said her family have been informed and she is in hospital.

The road was closed for some time, but has since reopened.

Avon and Somerset Police believe the rider was travelling in the direction of Aztec West.

They asked for help identifying a motorcycle rider dressed all in black and with a white helmet, shown in a CCTV image.

Anyone with relevant dashcam or footage from the surrounding area, has been asked to contact police.
