Arrests after 'altercation' closes major road

Two women and a man have been arrested after an "altercation" closed a major road for two hours.
North Wales Police said they were called to the incident in the "live westbound carriageway" of the A55 at Dwygyfylchi, Conwy, at 16:00 on Monday, and the road was closed.
Two men, who were passengers in separate cars, were taken to hospital with injuries.
One man was later released from hospital and arrested on suspicion of assault, while the women driving the two cars were also arrested.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and wounding with intent, while the other woman, 49, was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, racially aggravated public order and careless driving.
The man remains in police custody and both women have been released under investigation.
Police said the road reopened shortly after 18:00 on Monday.
