Chants at disabled St Mirren fan treated as hate crime

Police have launched a hate crime probe after Aberdeen fans were filmed apparently chanting abuse at a St Mirren fan with a disability during a football match.
The force said it had been alerted to a video of the incident, which the BBC has seen, posted on social media following Saturday's match at St Mirren Park.
Aberdeen supporters appear to use offensive language and jeer at the fan, who is visibly upset.
Insp Megan Logan said the abuse was "despicable" and that officers were keen to trace those involved.
She urged anyone with information to contact Police Scotland's non-emergency line.
St Mirren and Aberdeen FC have been contacted for comment.
