Man charged after three police officers injured

A 36-year-old man has been charged with assault following an incident in west Belfast on Friday in which three officers were injured.
One officer received a broken thumb, another officer was bitten on the hand and a third officer was punched in the face during the incident.
The man has been charged with two counts of assault on police, resisting police, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday 3 March.
