Three rescued after serious two-vehicle crash

Emergency crews rescued three people from their vehicles after a serious crash, Gloucestershire Police has said.

The two-vehicle collision happened at about 12.30 GMT on the A417 at Crickley Hill. A stretch of the road was closed in both directions but has now re-opened.

A force spokesperson said: "Some of those involved in the collision have been taken to hospital."

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage has been asked to contact police.
