One of Cornwall's biggest charity fundraising events has come to an end.
Hundreds of women don pink wigs and parade through Falmouth town centre for the town's annual Pink Wig Ladies Night.
The event has raised £220,000 for the Mermaid breast care centre in Truro and cancer charities since it started in 2009.
Organisers said they "are not getting any younger", and wanted to leave the event "on a high".
Pink Wig founder Emma Kent said the event started as a night out to support their friend Sally, who was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"It's grown beyond our expectations over the years," she said.
Ms Kent said the event "started as a very small group of friends going out to to wish our dear friend Sally well on her cancer journey".
She said the event had escalated "to 1,500 women donning their pink wigs and coming and having a good night out whilst raising vital funds for local and national breast care".
'Really proud'
Ms Kent said she felt the time was right to bring an end to the event.
"We've kept it going for 10 years since Sally passed, and we're really proud of that," she said.
"I think Sally will be sat up there with her sweetened rosé wine on a cloud somewhere, beaming."
