A post-mortem examination found Ms Knight, known as Izzy, had died as a result of pressure being applied to her neck.

Senior investigating officer Det Insp Torie Harrison from the East Midlands special operations unit said a "comprehensive and fast-moving investigation into the circumstances of the death" was under way.

"Our thoughts and condolences are with Izzy's family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. She was a much-loved daughter, sister and mother and the devastation caused by her death is immeasurable."
