Football stadium abseil aims to raise £10,000

Wolverhampton Wanderers FC is hoping to raise £10,000 for charity by offering people the chance to slide down a rope from the top of a stand at its stadium.
Wolves are inviting daredevils to abseil 25m (82ft) down the Billy Wright Stand at Molineux on 7 September.
The club is raising money for its community charity, the Wolves Foundation.
A similar event last year, in which more than 70 people took part, raised £17,000.
"It was such a great event," said the Foundation's Laura Cahill of last year's abseil. "We welcomed a range of people, from those who love a challenge and took it all in their stride, to others who had to conquer their fears but ended up with a wonderful feeling of achievement."
Among those who took part last year - at the age of 73 - was former Wolves striker John Richards.
"I had seen Molineux from pretty much everywhere else during my time at the club, but the top of the Billy Wright Stand certainly offered a very different perspective," he said. "I would encourage anyone considering it to give it a go, while also raising funds for such a great cause."
The event will be delivered under the guidance of instructors and technicians from a professional abseiling company.
It costs £35 to take part, which includes two spectator tickets, and participants are asked to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.
