Collision closes A169 near Malton

Part of the A169 in North Yorkshire has been closed following a collision, police have said.

The road was shut between the A64 interchange at Malton and Marishes Low Road, with Marishes Road also closed to traffic, according to officers.

North Yorkshire Police advised motorists to avoid the area, saying the roads were "likely to be closed for some time".

Staff at the nearby Eden Camp World War Two museum said the site would be shut for the day as a result of the incident.
