Boy, 17, and man charged after burglary spree

A man and a teenage boy are due to appear in court today charged with a series of burglaries in west Leeds, including a ram raid at a shop.
The man, aged 47, has been charged with robbery at an industrial unit in Bramley, a house burglary, five commercial burglaries, and driving offences.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with three commercial burglaries and possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.
Both were remanded in custody after arrest and are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.

The teenager's charges relate to burglaries on Wednesday at Gull's convenience store and Fairfield Local store, both in Bramley, and at Morrisons Daily on Belle Vue Road.
The arrested man, from Armley, faces the same charges along with additional commercial burglary charges at the Cardigan Arms pub in Burley and Morrisons Daily in Pudsey, on Monday.
He is also charged with a house burglary in Oakwood Terrace, Pudsey, on Monday, taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, and dangerous driving.
