Train services through Milton Keynes disrupted

Avanti West Coast said services through Milton Keynes Central have been cancelled or delayed by up to 120 minutes

Rail passengers are facing major delays and cancellation to services through Milton Keynes.

Avanti West Coast, which operates through Milton Keynes Central, apologised for the disruption and said on X that all lines were blocked while emergency services dealt with an incident.

The train provider said a person was hit by a train.

National Rail said major disruption was expected to continue until about 15:00 GMT.

London Northwestern Railway also said services between Northampton and Bletchley were affected.
