A pedestrian hit by a bus has been taken to hospital in the West Midlands.

The woman, who had been struck on Devon Road in Wolverhampton at about 09:55 BST, had injuries that were not thought to be serious, the ambulance service said.

She was taken to New Cross Hospital in the city for further checks.

West Midlands Roads said the street was blocked in both directions after the incident and asked people to allow extra time to travel.
