Large scrap metal fire tackled overnight
Firefighters are tackling a scrap metal blaze in Birmingham that broke out overnight.
Seven crews were deployed to the incident off Landor Street, at about 22:15 GMT on Tuesday, although that has since been scaled back.
The blaze has involved scrap metal and lithium batteries. Residents have been advised to keep doors and windows closed due to large amounts of smoke in the area.
Road closures were in place, but Landor Street has since reopened and access on Clarel Avenue is being given to businesses.
There were no reported casualties, the fire service said.
Four appliances were at the scene from about 06:00 GMT.
