Third arrest and car image released after stabbing
A third arrest has been made and an image of a black Volvo has been released in the investigation of an attempted murder of a man.
A 34-year-old man from Upper Arncott was arrested yesterday after the victim was stabbed several times on Sunday at Bicester Shopping Park at about 17:05 GMT.
Two other men, aged 18 and 30, both from Bicester, who were previously arrested, have since been released on conditional police bail.
Thames Valley Police is trying to locate the car in connection with the incident near to the PureGym.
The force said the victim, who is in his 30s, remained in "a serious but stable condition in hospital".
Det Insp George Atkinson said they remained "confident that there is no wider risk to the local community and that the victim and offenders are known to each other".
"The victim is recovering in hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening," he said.
The Volvo car has a partial registration number CN69.
"We believe the vehicle may now be out of the force area, potentially in the Kent or London area."
He appealed for anyone who had seen the vehicle to contact them.
