Irish police seize more than €1m in drugs and cash

Two people have been arrested after gardaí (Irish police) seized drugs and cash worth more than €1 million (£828,485).
The items were discovered during a search at a residential property in the Old Bawn area of Tallaght, Dublin, on Tuesday.
The drugs, including cannabis, cocaine and ketamine, have a combined estimated street value of about €950,000 (£787,217.50).
More than €231,000 (£191,380.03) in cash was also seized by gardaí.
The two arrested individuals, a man and a woman in their 20s, remain in custody at a Garda station in Dublin.
